The 4 Best Android Smartphone Under 60000

The OnePlus 7 Pro is again a ‘flagship killer’ with top-notch hardware and relatively a lower price. With a new design, the OnePlus 7 Pro has been launched with a new design – a curved glass on the back and front. However, the glass has pushed this model on a heavier side. And the smooth finish makes the phone prone to slipping, especially when used single-handed. A 6.67-inch fluid AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution is a first in any OnePlus device. And this gives you the liberty to stream HD videos on apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime.

A dual-sim tray is stacked at the bottom with USB Type-C port and a stereo speaker. A Warp Charge 30W power adaptor comes in with the phone. The phone runs on Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon 855 built on a 7nm fabrication process to make it more power-efficient. With a snappy interface and a high display refresh rate, the usage of the phone is very smooth. The strong processor qualifies the phone for playing heavy-duty games like PUBG. The 4000mAh battery is pretty solid and works for more than 24 hours in everyday usage.

Out of all the features, it was the camera which faced a complete makeover. The rear 48-MP primary sensor enables the phone to capture decent images in the broad daylight bringing out the lively colours of the images. The close-up shots were decent but mostly lacked sharpness around the edges. The images captured in the portrait mode weren’t as sharp as they were expected to be and there is no option to adjust the level of blur before or after taking the shot. The selfie camera has a 16-MP unit which clicked decent pictures in the daylight but lacked sharpness. The shots captured in low-light looked grainy, which was a let-down. The pop-up mechanism works smoothly and quickly.

Additional Features

  • Fnatic Mode: A sub-mode for the gaming mode, the Fnatic mode when enabled, block all notifications and calls with no exceptions.
Built-in screen recorder – The 7 Pro comes with a built-in screen recorder and adjust the resolution, bit-rate, audio source, etc.
  • Zen Mode: For a little digital detox, the Zen mode disables the phone functionality for 20 minutes, except of making and receiving emergency calls. Once enabled, this mode cannot be disabled.

Verdict

The OnePlus 7 Pro is a gem when it comes to display. The massive size and lack of notch let’s you stream videos and play games without any interruption. And the stereo speakers are a good addition as well. The phone works for long hours without heating up making it likeable.
However, there are a few letdowns in this ‘premium’ phone. The camera needs some more finishing, IP-certified waterproofing and wireless charging would be preferred.

The K20 Pro has a 3.5 mm audio jack at the top and a USB Type-C port, SIM tray, loudspeaker grille and the primary microphone at the bottom.

The Redmi K20 Pro has a 48-MP Sony IMX586 primary rear camera sensor. The images captured by the rear camera are great in broad day-light as well in low-light. Coupling with it, the portrait shots and the zoom-in shots both are decent and will please the user. The 20-MP pop-up selfie camera also captures decent images allowing the user to use the varied range of editing features. The added feature in the camera is that the pop-up camera retracts if the phone drops while clicking pictures.

Packed with a 4000mAh battery the phone lasts for at least a day. With the support of a 27W fast charging, the device has the capacity to charge in a short duration. However, the users will have to buy the 27W charger separately and the phone comes with a 18W fast charger instead. The 18W fast charger fully charges the phone in a little over an hour. The new Oppo Reno 10 x Zoom is a bulky, glass slab phone when it comes to design. It has a 6.6 inch screen is packed with a 4065mAh battery. The glass back looks elegant but makes the phone slippery and fingerprints can be visible on it. But the make of the phone is top-notch. A new feature added by Oppo is the new camera mechanism. Known as the “shark fin”, this asymmetric triangular pop-up accommodates the front camera, the phone’s earpiece, a secondary microphone, an LED illuminator and dual-LED flash.

There are three rear cameras that are arranged in a line and there is no camera bump. The standard camera of 48-MP is versatile and the wide aperture makes it favourable for clicking pictures in low-light. The zoom feature of the phone is top-notch and even at 10x level, the images are clear and the user will be able to pick out details at least in the daylight. The overall quality of the rear camera was impressive with crisp and vibrant shots in the daytime. The performance of the camera was good enough even during. The shark-fin selfie camera of 16-MP clicks decent selfies in the daytime but when it comes to low-light, the images become blurry. The default beautification level made the images look fake which was a let-down.

The notch-less, large screen makes the phone suitable for gaming. The 10x Zoom comes with a USB Type-C connector in the box. The in-display fingerprint and the pop-up camera makes the user wait for a bit but this can be ignored considering the bright animation that comes on the screen to distract the user from the delay.

Additional Features

  • Lock Screen Magazine: The Lock Screen Magazine feature shows random photos with little information each time the user unlocks the phone. This feature cannot be personalized but can be disabled altogether.

Verdict

Oppo has launched this phone with high-quality, premium features and an impressive camera at a competitive price. The main unique selling point for this phone is the 10x zoom which lives up to the expectations and has no competition in this niche. The main drawbacks of this phone are the weight and the size. But that depends on the user.

What We Loved

  • Good battery life
  • Impressive pop-up front camera
  • Excellent camera

What We Didn’t Like

  • Not IP-certified water/dust resistance

The Gamer Studio is an attractive feature where the key gaming-centric tools are located. The 6.39-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display makes the phone suitable for gaming.

Powered by the Snapdragon 855 processor and packed with 4000mAh battery, the phone easily lasts through a day and does not dissipate heat. The Black Shark 2 packs a 48-MP rear camera and a 20-MP front camera. The camera does not come with many features and is only equipped with HDR, slow-motion, portrait mode and a lot of beautification tools. The camera does capture crisp shots in the day-light.
